Peer Tutors
The Writing Center is currently seeking applications for a year-long job (Fall 2024-Spring 2025) as an undergraduate writing peer tutor. Peer tutors usually offer between 6 to 12 hours of appointments each week for Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters, in addition to receiving professional development and supplemental training. Graduate Student Opportunities
Graduate Writing Consultants
The Center for Excellence in Writing and Communication will soon (start of spring quarter) begin accepting applications for Graduate Writing Consultants for summer 2024 and academic year 2024-25.These are tuition-remitting, GSR Stage IV positions comparable to a 50% TAship, for no more than 20 hours per week. Graduate Writing Consultants provide writing support for graduate students through one-on-one tutoring, with an opportunity for workshop and resource development, from Fall through Spring quarter (and, pending availability, the summer). We encourage applicants from any cultural, academic, or linguistic background. Applications will remain open until May 5th.
